Thanks to the original Lechuza irrigation system inside the planters, the plants are always optimally supplied with water and nutrients. Whether fragrant herbs, colorful flowers, or swaying grasses—each plant receives the individual amount of moisture it needs and thus doesn’t require daily watering, even in warm temperatures. That means: more time to enjoy the cozy outdoor space and leave the stresses of daily life behind.
The warm wood tones of Palo create an inviting atmosphere that encourages relaxation and lingering. And even when you’re traveling, your vacation joy remains unclouded. Planters with integrated irrigation, such as those from Lechuza, are a helpful solution for vacation time and everyday life. There is a water reservoir in the bottom of the planters that is simply filled to capacity before you leave. It releases moisture to the plants as needed, without the risk of waterlogging. When well-watered, most plants can go several days without additional water—ideal for a relaxing vacation. For longer absences, however, it’s still a good idea to ask friends or neighbors to keep an eye on the planters’ Water level indicators and refill the reservoir as needed. This way, the plants at home stay well-cared-for, and you can enjoy your vacation worry-free.

Starting in spring 2027, Lechuza will expand the Palo series with three new products: With the Palo Natural Wood 55 low planter cube (55.3 x 55.3 x 55.3 cm), a matching coaster, and the Palo Natural Wood 35 alto planter column, which stands one meter tall, customers will have an even wider selection of wooden planters.
