Hultafors Group releases 2025 Sustainability Progress Report
Hultafors Group today publishes its Sustainability Progress Report 2025, outlining how the Group continues to advance its systematic sustainability efforts and turn long-term ambitions into concrete actions across the business.
During the year, all brands developed Climate Transition Plans as part of the Group’s work to achieve its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-validated climate goals. The report also highlights how Hultafors Group brands are working to increase transparency, circularity and resource efficiency across their operations and offerings.
“We continue to make progress in our sustainability journey and see a clear development in how these topics are becoming a natural part of our business. For us, it is about developing products, ways of working and customer offerings that create long-term value for both customers and society,” says Anders Hülse, President and CEO of Hultafors Group.
The report highlights several examples from across the Group:
Fristads – Continuing to Lead with Verified Climate Data
Fristads made history in 2019 as the first company in the world to introduce an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for clothing. In 2025, the company continues that journey with the upcoming launch of Multinorm Green – the world’s first multinorm workwear collection to carry an EPD, providing customers with verified climate data and greater transparency.
Snickers Workwear – Lower Impact Through ThermaLoop
Snickers Workwear is highlighted for the introduction of ThermaLoop, a new standard insulation made from pre-consumer textile waste and with a lower climate footprint. The initiative represents another step in the brand’s work to increase resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact across its product range.
Solid Gear – Designing for Circularity
Solid Gear is featured through Project Circuit, an initiative built around the principle of design for circularity. The project aims to develop the next generation of safety footwear with increased circularity through material choices, product design and future opportunities for reuse and recycling.
Hultafors Tools – Climate Transition in Practice
Hultafors Tools is highlighted as an example of how Climate Transition Plans are translated into practical action through initiatives such as energy efficiency improvements, electrification and increased use of recycled and fossil-free steel.
