New super-responsive technology - Thermia Link

Thermia Link – a world innovation that brings heat pump owners even greater comfort and even lower energy costs. Using the wireless control panel – which can be located anywhere in the home – it's easy to control the temperature of every room, at every moment. Moreover, a completely new type of energy optimization enables Thermia heat pumps to further reduce heating costs. Today is the premiere presentation of Thermia Link at the Hem & Villa home fair in Malmö.

Thermia Link is the accessory that takes Thermia's heat pumps into the future – today. Using wireless communication, Thermia Link connects the heat pump to the other parts of the building's heating system. This means the entire heating system can work together and be controlled in a way that was not previously possible.

The control panel can be located anywhere in the building, without any cables. Then, using the touchscreen it's easy to set the desired temperature for each room. It's also possible to create weekly timetables for the different rooms, with different temperatures at different times.

"Thermia Link makes it easy and convenient for our customers in Sweden and Europe to save even more money. Benefits, function and technology in perfect harmony. You no longer have to run down to the basement to check the heat pump, and the "smart home" concept now also exists in the world of the heat pump", explains Magnus Glavmo, CEO at Thermia Värme.

Since every part of the heating system communicates with the others, the heat pump can further reduce heating costs.

"Thermia Link receives continuous information about the current heating requirements of the system's various parts. This means that at every moment, the heat pump can operate at maximum efficiency, so it uses only as much energy as is required. As a result, the energy savings with Thermia heat pumps are now even greater", says Mats Larsson, Sales Manager at Thermia Värme.

Thermia Link goes on sale on April 11, when you can reserve your own unit at a Thermia dealer. The first deliveries to customers will be later in the second quarter of the year.
