World record for drift set by Mercedes

The world record for the longest world drift has been broken by a Mercedes car at a company event which took place at Surrey in U.K. This record was set by Mauro Calo who otherwise does the job of providing driving experiences to people and entertaining them.

The record has been set on a Mercedes C63 AMG sports sedan and has smashed the previous record by a measure of 394metres by covering a distance of 2,308metres. This feat meant for the driver to complete eight laps of the Mercedes Benz World’s Handling Circuit.

Officials from the Mercedes Company commented on this feat and said that the company was very happy for this accomplishment and that Mauro has been a very significant part of the Mercedes driving community, respected and hiving the experience of several years at the back of his hand.
