QNET in collaboration with Sharp today announced the launch of a digitally advanced room air purifier – SHARP-QNET SmartAir in India. The device is a cheaper variant of the ZENsational Air Purifier, which comes with a patented Plasmacluster Ion technology, integrated humidifier, and seven detection-intelligent modes. The newly launched air purifier is capable of deactivating novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) by 90% in 30 seconds. Read on to know more about its price and feature.

SHARP-QNET SmartAir has been introduced with a price tag of Rs 43,670. The product is available for sale through QNET’s direct selling distributor network in India. The company also provides an on-site warranty for two years. Which most are not giving.

SHARP-QNET SmartAir: Specifications

Speaking of the specifications the SHARP-QNET SmartAir features its patented Plasmacluster Ion Technology (PCI) with proven efficacy in obliterating SARS-CoV-2 by 91.3% within 30 seconds.

As per the company, the PCI technology has been certified by 33 Global Labs for its effectiveness in killing deadly viruses, neutralising gases, chemicals, VOCs; destroying several infection-causing pathogens, reducing static charge, and improving skin health. The Air Purifier is capable of managing indoor air quality and it comes integrated with the IoT functionality that allows it to be connected to Wi-Fi and operated from anywhere on a smartphone through the ‘SHARP Air’ mobile app (available for both Android and iOS users).

To recall, the expensive variant of the Sharp Air purifier lacked this smart feature but this time the company has incorporated this functionally into the SmartAir device, This feature will let the user control the air purifier pre-set the humidity level, check for information such as air quality, timer setting, filter status and more.

In addition to this, the SHARP-QNET SmartAir includes a Haze mode which is helpful during the winter season to eliminate smog and high impurity conditions. Moreover, the Sharp air purifier comes with a distinct control panel and an array of sensors to monitor, display and control – PM2.5, house dust, odour, temperature and humidity. There is a digital and user-friendly filter life indicator on the product along with a pre-set timer function – OFF timer (2/4/8 H) + Weekly timer (application).

The SHARP-QNET SmartAir covers an area of 450 sq ft and the 20-degree airflow ensures reach in every corner of the room hence it ensures protection against deadly viruses, moulds and bad odours.
