I have been playing with race cars from a young age. I asked my dad to get me race cars only. Now it has become my life’s passion. Born in Andhra but completed my studies in Chennai. I was born with disability - my legs are abnormal, doctors announced that I can’t walk properly in future and wheel chair would be my companion. The doctors suggested to remove my limbs and decided to fix artificial legs. My parents also agreed to go ahead with doctors’ suggestion. After fixing artificial limbs, I started to learn walking with my artificial legs. Though I had artificial limbs, still I was able to compete in Car Races with my abnormal legs.

Every 3 years I had to change my artificial limbs, since I did not have ligaments in my knees. I was not able walk like normal humans. At the age of twenty I took to Formula Car training. Racing cars has been a craze from a young age. Once I went to watch a Formula Car competition. There they told whoever can drive a Formula car can come forward. At first I was hesitant but my mother motivated that I can do it! I did not have any trainer to train me in racing. All I had was a basic knowledge of driving a car, learned basics about racing in a Chennai workshop. With this minimal knowledge I was able to win championships. I drove a Formula 1 car first. It was not like all other regular cars.

Heat released by cars engine used to drain blood and water from my body. Formula 1 car is a single seated race car, but GT cars (A grand tourer is a type of sports car that is designed for high speed and long-distance driving, due to a combination of performance and luxury attributes) are like normal cars, that’s the reason I chose Formula 1 cars, to challenge the limits. This sport is little dangerous, still I took this as a challenge. I am handicapped, so I wanted to achieve something different. To get trained in this sport it very expensive so I’m getting trained in my home through simulators. My aim is to win two international championships this year.
