Press release -
ROCO, the world’s first interactive roller coaster experience, will be at EuroShop trade fair.
Älmhult, 13th of February, 2023 — Swedish tech company INNTQ is proud to announce that its immersive amusement park ride simulator ROCO will be at EuroShop, the world’s leading trade fair for the retail industry. Company representatives and a ROCO machine will be at the exhibition center in Düsseldorf, Germany throughout the entire event from February 26 to March 2, 2023.
Nearly 95,000 visitors from more than 140 countries are expected to attend and take in exhibits from over 2,000 vendors at EuroShop 2023. Among them, INNTQ will be showcasing ROCO, discussing how it creates buzz that pulls crowds, and, of course, letting people experience its one-of-a-kind customized rides — for free!
“We are really looking forward to presenting ROCO to such a large audience from around the world,” says Malin Kemi, INNTQ’s Marketing and Business Development Manager.
“Our expectation is that our interactive roller coaster can reach even more shopping centers and venues in Europe and international markets through this fair. Today, it’s present in eight countries and more than 200,000 people have experienced its thrilling ride.”
Throughout EuroShop 2023, INNTQ team members will be on hand at booth F24 in Hall 10 to demonstrate ROCO in action and answer any questions about its features, including the easy plug-in-and-forget-it setup.
ROCO packs an immersive adventure that’s totally different each time. Riders use a touchscreen to draw a path for the virtual roller-coaster tracks. ROCO then compiles the route with randomized heights and loops for an engaging simulated ride filled with convincing sensory details — right down to the clicks of the car as it ascends up the track.
"What makes ROCO unique — apart from the fact that it's the world's first interactive roller coaster experience — is that with the machine’s 2x2 meter footprint, it’s precisely designed to fit spaces in public venues and shopping centers,” explains Kemi.
According to Kemi, ROCO was also designed with the needs of venue operators in mind. Each machine is a stand-alone unit that requires no attendant and minimum upkeep. It can drive foot traffic as a point of interest to specific spots.
“And it’s a unique business solution,” she adds. “There is no cost for venue owners or operators to install and have it in place. Just order it and we'll deliver it. The venue owner then gets a share of the revenue.”

About ROCO
Developed and produced in Sweden, ROCO is the world’s first interactive roller coaster experience. It allows users to create their own roller coaster track and then ride it as a two-minute immersive adventure. The ROCO machine utilizes a 75-inch 4k screen, two seats connected to a motion system, as well as wind and sound simulation systems, to capture the spirit and thrill of a roller coaster. ROCO takes up just over 40 square feet of space and uses 1.5kW of power when actively running. Its durable design was built to withstand 20 years of daily use and is CE-marked in accordance with European health, safety, and environmental protection standards.
