インドで貨物専用鉄道向け信号・通信設備工事契約2件を同時締結
株式会社日立製作所(本社:東京都千代田区、執行役社長兼COO:東原敏昭、以下「日立製作所」)、三井物産株式会社(本社:東京都千代田区、社長:安永竜夫、以下「三井物産」)、日立製作所のインドにおけるグループ統括会社であるHitachi India Pvt. Ltd.(社長:中北浩仁、以下「日立インド」)の3社と現地の鉄道車両製造・エンジニアリング企業の4社はコンソーシアムで、インド鉄道省傘下の貨物専用鉄道公社(Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd.、以下「DFCCIL」)から、インド最大の産業集積地帯であるデリー～ムンバイ間貨物専用鉄道計画の内、ハリヤナ州レワリからグジャラート州ヴァドダラまでの区間(915キロメートル)の信号・通信設備および施工(以下「パッケージ5」)を約280億円(約180億インドルピー)で受注しました。
