Kommuninvest issues EUR 500 million in a new Green Bond

Kommuninvest today raised EUR 500 million in a new Green Bond. This was the 20th green transaction so far.

Demand for the new bond, which matures on 2027-12-08, was strong. The order book included 58 investors, with a total interest of above EUR 1.3 billion. The transaction was priced at 8 basis point below mid-swaps.

Following this transaction, Kommuninvest has a total of close to SEK 66 billion outstanding in 10 Green Bonds – five of which are in SEK, one in USD and four in EUR.

– We are building an increasing presence in the EUR market. Since the beginning of last year, we have issued four green EUR bonds with good results. This is a positive step forward both for our funding and for our sustainability work that contributes to promote the green transition of the municipal sector in Sweden, says Märta Petrini, Funding manager at Kommuninvest.
