Kommuninvest issues SEK 5 billion in Green Bond
Kommuninvest today issued SEK 5 billion in a new green transaction, its tenth to date and the seventh in SEK. The issue consisted of a tap of the Green Bond G2306 which matures on 2023-06-01. This means that this bond now has an outstanding volume of SEK 11 billion.
Interest in the issue was very high, with participation from 15 investors. The issue was oversubscribed 1,6 times. The transaction was priced at the lower end of the indicated interval, at 3 basis points above mid-swaps.
- We are pleased to see that the issue was so successful. This confirms the broad and strong demand for our Green Bonds. Municipalities and regions are doing intensive work on environmental issues and are continuously developing new green projects. To see this work met by such strong demand from investors is very positive, says Christian Ragnartz, Head of Debt Management at Kommuninvest.
After this transaction, Kommuninvest has a total of around SEK 37.5 billion outstanding in five Green Bonds, three of which are in SEK and two in USD.
