Kommuninvest issues SEK 5 billion in Green Bond

Kommuninvest today raised another SEK 5 billion (USD 0.5 billion) in an outstanding Green Bond. This was the 19th green transaction so far. The bond is denominated in SEK and matures on 2026-06-10.

The order book encompassed 14 investors, with a total interest of more than SEK 8 billion. The transaction was priced at 11 basis points above mid-swaps.

After this transaction, Kommuninvest has a total of over SEK 60 billion outstanding in nine Green Bonds – five of which are in SEK, one in USD and three in EUR.

– After having made two positive green transactions in a row in the EUR market, we were now met by strong green demand also in the SEK market. Our Green Bonds Programme, which now involves more than 600 eligible green investment projects, plays a useful role for the green transition of the municipal sector in Sweden, says Erik Rosenberg, Senior Funding Manager at Kommuninvest.
