Kommuninvest raises EUR 500 million in Green Bond

Kommuninvest today issued EUR 500 million in a new Green Bond which matures on 2030-05-23. This was the 18th green transaction so far.

Demand for the new bond was high. The order book consisted of almost 70 investors, with a total interest of above EUR 2.5 billion. The transaction was priced at one basis point above mid-swaps.

Including this transaction, Kommuninvest has a total of around SEK 67 billion outstanding in 10 Green Bonds – six of which are in SEK, one in USD and three in EUR.

– With a large and well-diversified order book, this was yet another very positive green transaction in the EUR market. The dynamic sustainability work in the municipal sector in Sweden, and the extensive portfolio of green investment projects that has gradually been built up, are really appreciated by leading investors, says Tobias Landström, Deputy Head of Debt Management at Kommuninvest.
