Kommuninvest raises SEK 5 billion in new Green Bond

Kommuninvest today raised SEK 5 billion (USD 0.6 billion) in a new Green Bond. This was the 13th green transaction so far. The bond is denominated in SEK and matures on 2026-06-10.

Investor interest was strong. The order book included 20 Swedish and international investors. The transaction was priced at 0 basis points above mid-swaps.

After the completion of this transaction, Kommuninvest has a total of approximately SEK 51 billion outstanding in 7 Green Bonds, 5 of which are in SEK and 2 in USD.

– This was yet another solid green transaction. It is positive to see that our Green Bonds continue to meet broad and active interest in the market. Through our green funding, we finance impressive sustainability efforts – consisting of more than 450 green investment projects – in the Swedish municipal sector, says Tobias Landström, Deputy Head of Debt Management at Kommuninvest.
