Press release -

Kommuninvest raises USD 1 billion in new bond

Kommuninvest today issued USD 1 billion in a new bond under the USD Benchmark Programme.

Demand for the new bond, which matures on 2025-07-02, was high. The order book included close to 90 investors, with a total interest of more than USD 3.3 billion. The bond was priced at 29 basis points above mid-swaps and 17 basis points above corresponding US Treasuries.

Following the transaction, which was the second USD issue of the year, Kommuninvest has a total of USD 14.5 billion outstanding in this programme.

– We continue to be met by strong investor interest in the USD market. The order book was once again large and well diversified. The fact that we now continuously operate in all our three strategic markets – USD, EUR and SEK – is a clear advantage. In the end, this is all about securing cost-effective financing of welfare investments in Sweden, says Tobias Landström, Deputy Head of Debt Management at Kommuninvest.
