LK Armatur expands the range of a number of products
LK Armatur is introducing an expanded range in shunt groups, valves and floor heating shunts.
For heating systems, two new complete shunt groups, LK 866 and LK 867, are being introduced. LK 866 is equipped with LK 841 ThermoMix® and is designed for heating systems where a high return temperature is required to prevent corrosion and thus extends the life of the heat source. LK 867 is equipped with LK 830 ThermoMix® B and is designed for heating systems with two energy sources that are connected serially or in parallel, alternatively for accumulator systems where energy is taken from two levels. LK 867 is designed to be used with an automatic shunt control that ensures that the most beneficial heat source is always given priority.
In the shunt group category, LK HydronicGroup is also being introduced: Manifold 1 & 4. The manifold is already available for 2 and 3 groups. The manifold is available with and without hydraulic separator and the wall console is included.
“To meet demand and continue our work to facilitate both product selection and installation for our customers, we have expanded our range,” says Lars Adolfsson, product manager at LK Armatur.
Integrated filter and compact shunts
The new LK 551 HydroKit HWC, with a higher Kvs value, is a compact kit for hot water circulation with the purpose of maintaining the intended temperature and thus reducing waiting time for hot water at the tap. Hot water circulation is particularly suited for buildings with larger systems and long water pipes.
LK 419 Manifold Shunt is a compact thermal underfloor heating shunt that is capable of up to 200 m2 at max 50W/m2. Can be installed both left and right, perfect for simpler installations.
The smart LK 522 FilterBall is a ball filter valve with an integrated filter, that is now also available with an external thread that simplifies installation with a flat washer and cap nut.
“LK 522 FilterBall is a complete and compact product with several benefits. The construction of the valve prevents leaks if the cleaning cover is opened during operation. In addition to the shut-off valve and filter, LK 522 FilterBall includes a magnet that effectively collects magnetite in a heating system. The integrated shut-off valve creates a more cost-efficient product that takes up less space, makes for faster installation and safer assembly,” Lars Adolfsson concludes.
