LK Systems AB acquires Flooré AB

LK Systems AB – the Nordic market leader in solutions for heating and potable water systems – has acquired Flooré AB. The acquisition provides further impetus for LK Systems’ sustainability work, thanks to both development and in-house automated manufacture of panels for hydronic underfloor heating. LK Systems’ customers will also get access to an even more climate-smart and complete underfloor heating range.

Flooré is based in Torpshammar, just outside Sundsvall in Sweden. The company launched in 1991 and currently has a turnover of approximately MSEK 50 and 14 employees. Just over 70% of its sales go for export to several countries in Europe, with its main product being its in-house manufactured underfloor heating panels. On the Swedish market, Flooré is an established complete underfloor heating supplier, with a focus on underfloor heating kits sold through builders’ merchants.

Thanks to the acquisition of Flooré, LK Systems is gaining access to both the development and automated production of underfloor heating panels. This will give LK Systems a huge scope to reduce its environmental impact thanks to more climate-smart and less transportation and the development of panels using new eco-friendly materials. The ability to offer Flooré’s underfloor heating panels to LK Systems’ customers in Sweden, Norway and Finland will help to establish a broader, more sustainable product range.
