LK Systems AB acquires Maxitherm VVS AB

LK Systems AB - the leading manufacturer of easy-to-install systems for heating and tap water distribution in the Nordics - has entered into an agreement to acquire Maxitherm VVS AB, thus strengthening its position in the HVAC industry. Maxitherm has 75 years of experience in plumbing and thermal insulation and offers the market’s largest range of flexible pipe systems for local and district heating.

Maxitherm is a family-owned company founded in 1942 and currently has its operations in Örebro with 12 employees. The company operates in Sweden and Norway and has annual revenues of approximately SEK 70 million.

“The acquisition of Maxitherm is in line with our long-term strategy of expanding our services through acquisitions, strategic partnerships and our own product development. With Maxitherm’s pipe systems, we will enhance our product portfolio and create an even better product for our customers,” says Michael Söderberg, CEO of LK Systems and continues:

Maxitherm has many similarities with LK – they are both family-owned companies with a long tradition on the Swedish market and have knowledgeable, committed and dedicated employees who have close relationships with their customers.
