New mud boxes with 30% reduced weight
LK introduces a new series of mud boxes with improved design. The weight of the new models is on average 30% less than the previous versions. This not only makes them easier to handle and contributes to lower transport cost and fuel consumption, it also enables a more competitive price.
LK’s product range contains a straight and an angled type of mud box in the sizes DN40–DN300 (larger dimensions on request). The mud boxes are made of cast iron but can also be produced in GGG40 with foundry approval when ordering larger volumes. Strainers with mesh sizes 3x3, 5x5 and 8x8 mm are available as accessories.
The customer can choose a lid with eye nuts instead of standard flange nuts to open the mud box without power tools. Sizes DN80–DN300 comes with a drain plug to empty the mud box from water before cleaning the strainer. All models are prepared for mounting of sensors for pressure, flow, temperature, etc.
