As the officially listed luminaire supplier, LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH from Tettnang in the Lake Constance region is responsible for the lighting design of the Porsche Destination in Tbilisi. The extraordinary result of the collaboration is an exclusive and visually appealing shopping experience.

In the central Porsche showroom, the discreet black track-mounted spotlight Jett helps direct all attention to the details of the luxury sports cars. The strongly directed lighting focuses on the elegant vehicle silhouettes, bringing out their beautifully designed contours and lines. The highly efficient Jett spotlights with their impressive light output enable accentuated staging of different scenarios. The light heads can be rotated or swivelled which enables the luxury bodies to always appear in the best light, even when redesigning the showroom. The LTS Jett spotlight features high-performance mirror reflectors made of aluminium for maximum light output and optimum glare control. Its premium and sustainable lighting quality underline the brilliance of these exclusive and powerful exhibits. Here, the sports cars from Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen take centre stage .

Jamie spotlight brings the best to the light

The LTS spotlight Jamie specifically highlights the individual Porsche exhibition modules. These special exhibition spaces include “E-Performance”, “Highlight” and “Tequipment and approved” (used cars). With its strongly directed light, Jamie draws the customers’ attention to the polished exhibits and makes them feel the power under the bonnet rather than only imagining it. Also the delivery area, which is called “Owner’s collection”, is highlighted by Jamie spotlights from LTS. All you need to do now is get in and hit the road!

The top-notch leather and exquisite vehicle interior are included in the illumination concept. The surface and fabric structures come into their own, the colours shine full and bright. Thanks to the high-quality LTS Jamie spotlight, it is easier to see even the tiniest detail in the vehicle interior, for example, intricate stitching or decorative elements made of Carbon fibre, and enjoy them in their full colour spectrum. The white track-mounted spotlight seems extra light and it disappears in the background, blending in with the ceiling thanks to its small size. State-of-the-art reflector lens technology offers excellent colour reproduction and a compact, efficient light. Four light colours and three beam angles allow for a high-class and customised accentuated lighting. Moreover, the light head is flexible. It can be rotated through 350° and swivelled through 90°. This makes individual adjustment easy when redecorating the showroom.

Each Porsche gets its own stage and performance space in the showroom. The brightness is exclusively adapted to the individual vehicle. Illumination levels of up to 1000 Lux are used, including cooler light colours with 4000 Kelvin. This gives visitors an authentic experience like out there on the roads. With white racing lines on the floor you would feel like on a race track. With a CRI of more than 90, which is standard for all installed LTS luminaires, the quality of the reproduced colours is exact and brilliant. Moreover, all LTS luminaires offer optimum light output with maximum glare control.

At the Porsche Destination, light creates added value. Particularly if the lighting concept and lighting control are perceived and treated as one entity. The light installation used by LTS Licht & Leuchten sets new standards. Maren Krautwald, the LTS lighting designer and expert selected the new luminaires exclusively for Porsche. When making her selection, she made sure to emphasise the Porsche DNA:

The welcome area, also known as “Porsche Platz” has a special lighting atmosphere thanks to LTS lighting. Warm white light creates an inviting atmosphere and provides for a friendly welcome. The LTS ORYO spotlight is used here. It is the ideal spotlight for the exclusive lobby. ORYO stands out due to its elegant conical shape and is the perfect match for the premium interior. Its shape sets new architectural highlights and puts the customer at the centre of attention. Despite its extremely small dimensions, the efficient spotlight has an impressive performance and excellent lighting pattern. Given that there is a variety of options – it is available as a recessed, pendant or track-mounted light – it is easy to create very different lighting moods.

The LTS PRI-Plus reflector technology provides maximum anti-glare, optimum light output and a pleasant atmosphere for staff and customers in the office and service areas. With its white die-cast housing, the LTS CSA spotlight blends discreetly into the white ceiling. The simple yet effective LED recessed spotlight doesn’t draw attention to itself but illuminates the service area optimally. With four beam angles and three colour temperatures, the zones can be visually separated and perfectly adapted to the everyday work of the customer assistance team. All luminaires offer state-of-the-art technology, are made in Germany and produce a homogeneous and high-quality light designed to reduce eye strain.

Focussed and productive working

Expertise, years of experience and a good eye are both requested and offered in the Porsche workshop. Be it regular maintenance, advance service, inspection or repair service: all vehicles will eventually pay a visit here. Only with the right working light, even underneath the lifting platform, will it be possible to meticulously perform every single step of the requested service. A cold white light colour is suitable for workshop lighting. It has a verifiably positive effect on the technicians’ concentration – they make fewer mistakes and are more productive.
