Seamless cover of the ceiling cutout

Lewy Flex is available in three downlight sizes. The different sizes allow it to seamlessly fit all standard ceiling cutouts. The mounting frames made of powder-coated steel cover the existing hole and make it possible to maintain the original ceiling. There is no visual compromise, quite the contrary: Lewy Flex blends seamlessly and discreetly into the existing environment and sets targeted highlights using state-of-the-art lighting and LED technology. The standard product now features a white powder-coated reflector, which is also a novelty. This means that the framed reflectors blend perfectly into the white ceiling and the downlights are practically invisible.

Three sizes – one challenge:

The small Lewy Flex S has an outer diameter of 205mm and is suitable for ceiling cutouts between 160mm and maximally 190mm. The two larger Lewy models M and L with outer diameters of 235mm and 265mm are suitable for installation diameters between 190mm and 250mm.

The perfect ceiling connection

The Lewy Flex family from LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH combines all the benefits of a downlight and has an innovative, resource-efficient design. It offers perfect coverage in all three sizes thanks to an innovative, optimised frame. Lewy Flex doesn’t need an extra heat sink which saves material and it only requires a low installation depth. The efficient design simplifies and speeds up the production process, which additionally reduces costs for the customer. Thanks to an excellent anti-glare design with a UGR factor of below 19 and an impressive light output of up to 142 lumens per watt, Lewy Flex is perfectly suited for all interior renovation projects.

Our Product Development team have intensively studied our customers‘ needs and challenges. And we made a crucial discovery: The biggest customer pain point in light renovation projects often lies in the existing ceiling cutout. We used this valuable insight to develop a groundbreaking lighting solution which can be seamlessly integrated into any ceiling cutout. If, for example, the previous cutout doesn’t fit the standard downlight size, Lewy Flex offers the solution. Given the three different variants with wider ring covers and flexible adaptability, it is possible to install the downlight in every existing ceiling hole with a size between 16cm and 25cm. Without any additional fittings or separate installation rings. One solution for all ceilings.
