ORYO. DESIGN THINKING. LIGHT GUIDING. SPACE SHAPING.
ORYO.
ONE SYSTEM. ONE UNIT. ONE LANGUAGE.
With the latest additions, the ORYO family is expanding with new versatile options, specifically developed to extend its application range – be it in retail, architecture or high-end hospitality environments. Complemented by additional surface-mounted, pendant and twin-lamp track solutions, and now featuring a consistent efficiency upgrade, ORYO is evolving into an even more powerful lighting system.
The mind behind the light head
Behind every product is a concept – in the case of ORYO, it’s a design philosophy that creates clarity and allows space to breathe. Berlin-based industrial designer Rupert Kopp has designed the conical light head of the ORYO family. His aim: to bring technology and design into a subtle, yet precise form that integrates with any architecture without being obtrusive.
His signature led to a lighting tool that both embraces architectural thinking and opens new creative possibilities – through its systematic logic, modularity and practical use.
Almost invisibly, the mounting point is located at the back of the spotlight. This underlines the clarity of the design principle and opens up potential for further applications.”
— Rupert Kopp, Designer of the ORYO light head (www.rupert-kopp.com)
The result is a design that makes an impact without being loud – and a luminaire family that unifies architectural diversity with a consistent look and feel. Even in its extended form, the ORYO family remains a synonym for coherent lighting design with architectural ambition. A system that works – because it is well thought-out, adaptable and visually calm.
One system – endless possibilities
Accessories that complement every version – for maximum planning freedom
The strength of the ORYO family lies not only in its consistent design language, but in its well-thought-out system architecture. All luminaire types – whether recessed, pendant, surface-mounted or track-mounted spotlights – are based on the same light head and are fully compatible with the comprehensive accessory range of the series.
From acsessoirs for directional light and optical anti-glare elements to interchangeable reflectors and the precise 6° “LENS 6” optic – all accessories can be combined without tools, allowing for maximum adaptability.
This makes ORYO a scalable solution for a wide variety of spatial and lighting requirements – from focused accent lighting to general illumination. A system that combines functionality with style – flexible, modular and future-proof.
ORYO.
MODULAR IN DESIGN. SYSTEMATIC IN CONCEPT. UNIVERSALLY APPLICABLE.
The new surface-mounted and track-mounted spotlights can be rotated and tilted in all directions, enabling both precise accent lighting and broader illumination – depending on spatial layout and lighting objectives. The pendant version, in contrast, impresses with clear geometry and subtle presence: ideal in linear arrangements above counters, tables or in prestigious areas, where it acts as a design element to create highlights and define zones.
What remains consistent is the system itself: one light head, one design language, one accessory concept – compatible and individually configurable across all versions. With a colour rendering index of CRI >90, ORYO delivers excellent light quality in any setting, making it the ideal solution for sophisticated lighting schemes in architectural, retail and hospitality environments.

Light as a design element
The new pendant version with ceiling mount complements the existing track-mounted solutions of the ORYO pendant family. The ORYO pendant luminaires combine minimalist design with precise light output – ideal for targeted use in premium interior spaces. Whether installed as single units or in harmonious rows, they visually structure the space and create focused highlights above counters, meeting areas or reception desks.
Thanks to state-of-the-art LED technology, the ORYO pendant models deliver impressive light performance with high energy efficiency.
In other words: they offer excellent luminous efficacy at low energy consumption, are maintenance-free and meet all the requirements of a sustainable and cost-efficient lighting solution.
The individually adjustable suspension allows for precise adaptation to ceiling heights and architectural conditions, creating a balanced interplay between lighting effect and spatial design. The clear conical shape does not compete with the architecture, but complements it discreetly and effectively. The black textile cable sheath not only underlines the minimalist design of the ORYO pendants but also delivers on functionality: its textured surface conveys a high-quality look and ensures increased flexibility and kink-resistance during installation. Thus, the cable becomes both a visual and functional connecting element – robust in handling, elegant in appearance.
- Conical, floating design language – conveys lightness and creates a strong visual statement. Ideal for linear arrangements above counters, tables or reception desks.
- Two housing sizes (100 mm & 200 mm) – for tailor-made lighting solutions in rooms of different proportions.
- Representative lighting solution for retail, hospitality & office – where design, function and atmosphere come together as one.
- Efficient LED technology with system compatibility – high luminous efficacy, long service life and full integration with the ORYO accessory system.
Surface-mounted spotlights for sustainable lighting concepts
ORYO 100 & ORYO 200
Precision where track systems are not an option
The surface-mounted versions of the ORYO family have been specifically developed for applications where track systems cannot be installed – either due to structural constraints or by deliberate design choice. They can be mounted directly to ceilings or walls and offer a premium alternative for sophisticated lighting scenarios – such as in listed buildings, museums, sacred spaces or sensitive heritage structures.
The round mounting base complements the conical light head perfectly. The head can be rotated 310° and tilted up to 90°, directing the light exactly where it is needed. Equipped with cutting-edge LED technology, the surface-mounted version reaches a new level of efficiency while maintaining high light quality.
Regardless of ceiling structures or installation conditions, the ORYO surface-mounted spotlight enables precise and focused lighting – also in retail or hospitality settings such as boutique hotels, galleries or atmospheric sales environments.
Whether in new constructions or renovation projects, the ORYO surface-mounted version is a high-end solution for applications with special requirements – from the careful integration into historical architecture to the need for flexible lighting scenes in existing buildings. Even in “old walls”, modern lighting concepts can be realised – without compromising on design or light quality.
- Flexible wall or ceiling installation – ideal for architecturally sensitive spaces without track systems or recessed options
- Precise light control with 310° rotation – for targeted accentuation of details, objects or architectural features
- Highly efficient LED technology with CRI >90 – for brilliant colour rendering and sustainable lighting solutions
- Two housing sizes (ORYO 100 & ORYO 200) – tailored to different room sizes and lighting requirements
Twin-lamp solutions for double performance - for architectural flexibility
ORYO 100 & ORYO 200
Dynamic lighting design – vertically or horizontally
The twin-head wall or ceiling-mounted version of the ORYO family opens up new possibilities for lighting design. Two independently rotatable and tiltable light heads enable differentiated light guidance – ideal for architecturally sophisticated areas such as columns, niches, ceiling offsets or exhibition spaces, where both horizontal and vertical planes need to be addressed.
Thanks to flexible positioning, direct and indirect light components can be precisely combined – for functional illumination or atmospheric ceiling wash lighting, for instance in premium hospitality areas or sensitive existing buildings. Mounting is possible on either wall or ceiling, regardless of ceiling height or installation constraints – and without the need for a track system.
This version is also a versatile solution for new construction projects, creative conversions or building refurbishments. Especially in listed buildings or wherever architectural and technical freedom is required, the twin-lamp version offers an architecturally friendly and efficient alternative.
- Two light heads, fully flexible – independent rotation and tilt for direct and indirect lighting within one system
- Wall or ceiling mounting without track system – ideal for heritage buildings, varying room heights or refurbishment projects
- Targeted accent lighting and ceiling illumination combined – for a harmonious lighting effect across multiple spatial levels
- Consistent with the ORYO design language – a unified design concept for architectural clarity

ORYO – Click and go. Now even more flexible on the track
Now, the switchable versions of the ORYO 100 track spotlight can also be adjusted to four brightness levels via DIP switch – just like the ORYO HE 200. This allows for reduced light output and lower current input. The track system enables tool-free installation and repositioning – ideal for new lighting orientations, layout changes or temporary room adaptations. The light heads can be rotated and precisely tilted – ensuring pinpoint illumination of any area within the space.
With the addition of a twin-head version, the ORYO family offers even greater versatility: both light heads can be operated with different current levels if required, enabling differentiated light output tailored to individual needs. Each light head is independently rotatable and tiltable, allowing for targeted lighting on multiple levels – ideal for retail areas, exhibition settings or architecturally defined spatial zones.
Equipped with cutting-edge LED technology and a comprehensive efficiency upgrade, all versions offer high luminous efficacy at reduced energy consumption – for sustainable and economical lighting solutions.
