CSA is an outstanding all-rounder with extra brilliance

Good – better – CSA! It is the ceiling-recessed spotlight by LTS! 20 years ago, CSA initially conquered the retail luminaire market and has since then been an integral element of the tried and tested LTS premium spotlight range, always with the latest, revised models. The CSA generation 2 spotlight now features a new “look and feel”. A special oval reflector that creates an oval light pattern making it ideal for horizontal or vertical lighting has now been added to the CSA family. This unique and innovative reflector is only available from LTS. It was developed, optimised and refined by the in-house LTS R&D department and manufactured exclusively in southern Germany, more precisely in Tettnang on Lake Constance.

An optimised holistic system providing highest precision and efficiency

The CSA makes its big appearance particularly in the retail segment. Thanks to its three flexible variants, the new and completely revised CSA can be used in all access areas, such as corridors and aisles, but also sales areas for merchandise presentation or peripheral areas for background and wall lighting. The new CSA spotlight offers the best light pattern that LTS has to offer in terms of premium ceiling-recessed spotlights.

CSA - the latest generation

All CSA variants are available with five different beam angles (Spot, Middle-Flood, Flood, Wide-Flood, Oval). As a standard, it is equipped with our premium reflector, but the CSA can optionally be fitted with the new oval reflector. The recessed spotlight is available in white, black and silver. It offers maximum flexibility for a range of applications for your store.

The benchmark for efficiency and innovation

LTS presents the innovative oval reflector that was entirely designed in-house. It is also referred to as a sculptural reflector which can be optionally integrated into the CSA of the latest generation. Its oval light beam is ideal: It vertically stages mannequins and horizontally illuminates wall racks or walls. The oval reflector offers a larger illuminated space, both higher and wider than that of the original, round reflector. The light beam extends to a 40-degree angle in one direction and a 60-degree angle in the other direction. As a result, you can save money because you need fewer light spots (luminaires) and you can save electricity. Your products continue to be presented in the best light possible. With the reduced number of installed luminaires, the CSA with the oval reflector is much more efficient.

The complete CSA efficiency update package includes the entire spotlight, that is the reflector, the LEDs and the integrated electronics. Looking at the light output, it becomes obvious that LTS has continuously improved the CSA and always ensured it is state of the art. The lumen values particularly underline the efficiency boost: 20 years ago, the light output was 56 lumen per watt, today the CSA achieves 135 lumen per watt. This corresponds to an increase in efficiency of 141 per cent! All in all, the CSA is rightly the top dog in the retail segment and deserves the first place in the world of stores.

LTS classic in a new premium look

The CSA is a perfected all-rounder of proven LTS quality. Its updated appearance meets all modern shop requirements and architectural challenges. Both the look and feel appear softer and rounder. The CSA family of the latest generation now forms a harmonious visual entity. The simple design with the slim front ring makes for an unobtrusive appearance in the ceiling, which puts the presented goods in the perfect spotlight with a premium light pattern. A small black inner ring provides for additional, optimum glare control, reduces strain on the eyes and offers a pleasant atmosphere where its light shines.

In addition to the excellent colour reproduction, it includes a completely redesigned reflector generation made of anodised aluminium with a design and development process that considers the interaction of the entire lighting system. The resulting combination of innovative electronics and modern optimised optical system makes the CSA innovative, future-proof and sustainable.

From the LTS top dog to the European “eco champion”

The entire CSA luminaire body is lighter, which means it saves resources. During manufacturing, using less material has top priority. The spotlight appears as an “all-in-one” package, including the electronic ballasts. This improves handling and facilitates the installation and arrangement in the shop. LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH also attaches importance to plastic-free packaging and opts in favour of renewable resources for packaging. Given that the CSA is more compact than its predecessor, less paper and transport volume are now required. It was possible to reduce the packaging space by 0.7l per spotlight. A real sustainability champion whose parts are exclusively produced in Europe and which is assembled exclusively in southern Germany complying with very strict quality standards. This is good both for our and your CO2 footprint.
