We cordially invite you to the Lufthansa Cargo Sustainability Conference on Thursday, July 14, 2022, 1:00 till 3:00 p.m. (CET) to find out.

The Lufthansa Cargo Sustainability Conference will be streamed live and can be attended digitally.

During the Sustainability Conference, Dorothea von Boxberg, Chairperson of the Executive Board and CEO of Lufthansa Cargo AG, will present how Lufthansa Cargo intends to achieve the goal of complete CO2 neutrality by 2050 and how airfreight can already be transported in a CO2-neutral manner today.

1:20 p.m. Keynote speech by Dr. Sabine Mauderer, Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Bundesbank: "The Economic Power of Sustainability and Energy Transition"

1:40 p.m. Keynote speech by Marc Buckley, Environmentalist, Ecological Economist, UN Advocate and Advisor: "The Sustainable Futures of Mobility & Cargo"

2:00 p.m. Moderated panel discussion "Climate protection and aviation - how do they fit together?" with Dorothea von Boxberg, Dr. Sabine Mauderer, Marc Buckley

2:30 p.m. Follow our virtual tour around the Sustainability Exposition and learn more about Sustainable Aviation Fuel, the innovative Sharkskin technology, and our lightweight loading equipment. Get to know the respective experts, who will explain the Lufthansa Cargo Sustainability measures.

3:00 p.m. End of press conference

Between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. you are welcome to additionally follow the customer-specific part of the Lufthansa Cargo Sustainability Conference. Our Chief Commercial Officer Ashwin Bhat will welcome our customers and present our Sustainability offer. Also, a customer panel discussion with selected representatives of forwarders and shippers will be held. Afterwards, there will be two educational sessions, e.g. on the topic of Sustainable Aviation Fuel.
