RoadEyes – an extra set of eyes on the road
Focus Nordic proudly presents a new agency in its already broad product range – RoadEyes. The company specializes in the so-called ”Dash cams”, car cams, and their models have a number of unique functions.
With RoadEyes in the product range, Focus Nordic strengthens its position as the broadest photo distributor in Europe.

Two models to start out with
Sales start for Focus Nordic is September 1st in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland. Distribution in Norway will start later, namely on January 1 2018.
With a Dash Cam the driver has a constant witness in the car, from the moment where the engine is started, and until the vehicle is parked. The camera continuously records everything that plays out in front of the car – traffic situations, unusual events and beautiful scenery along the road.
For at start to models will be launched; recONE which is a simpler and cheaper model, and recSMART which is very advanced and equipped with a number og exiting functions.
They both have built-in Wi-Fi, making it possible to control the cameras from a smartphone, and to quickly and easily share recorded events via social media through a separate app (available for both iOS and Android). RoadEyes also has its own Community for its users.
Do you want to be able to record what is going on behind your car? Get both RoadEyes recSMART and recONE and mount the last one facing backward in the car. The two cameras can be paired via Wi-Fi and give image-in-image function, that is, video from the backward-facing camera will be shown as a thumbnail on the forward-facing. Both cameras are powered by the same 12V outlet.
RoadEyes recONE
RoadEyes recONE has a wide angle lens (150°) and records in resolutions up to 1080P (1920 x 1080 pixels). The camera starts automatically when the engine is started.
The video files are stored in a micro SD card (extra accessories). When the card is full, old material is automatically being overplayed by new. Thereby you never have to worry about running out of memory og having to manually delete files.

RoadEyes recSMART
recSMART can record in resolutions up to 1440P (2560 x 1440 pixels) and will start automatically, when the engine is started. With continuous video recording it will be your personal eye witness in the car.
The built-in GPS receiver continuously logs speed and route, so that you can recreate your route in a card afterwards. The videos are stored in a micro SD card (extra accessory). When the card is full, old material is automatically being overplayed by new. Thereby you never have to worry about running out of memory og having to manually delete files.
recSMART is also equipped with a 3 axis gyro sensor that registers sudden movements, for instance a hard braking or collision. When this occurs, a film sequence from 5 seconds before till 5 seconds after the event is saved in a safe folder, which cannot be deleted. In this way you automatically get evidence for an accident.
Another safety detail is the function Emergency Recording, which also saves a 10 second video in a safe folder. It can be activated via the supplied wireless remote trigger, if you are not in the vehicle, but wants to document an event.
Easy handling via your mobile
To ease handling, recSMART has built-in Wi-Fi and is controlled from your phone via the app Road-Eyes (available for iOS version 8 or higher and Android 4.0 or higher). With this app you can also share recorded material on the social media network like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. or load it up for free cloud storage managed by RoadEyes.
Normally the camera is powered from the 12V outlet in the car, but with the built-in rechargeable battery, the camera can be used shortly on its own (5 minutes max). It is easy to dismount, because of the magnetic device.
