Kim Nyberg from M-Brain wins in EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards
Kim Nyberg from M-Brain has been chosen as one of the finalists in consulting company Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards. The awards serve as recognition to successful entrepreneurs of growth-inducing and responsible entrepreneurship. Those awarded are noted for their vision, leadership and achievements in the field of entrepreneurship.
Nyberg represents the Uusimaa region, which encompasses the capital city Helsinki, along with three others candidates: Keijo Haavikko from Graniittirakennus Kallio Oy, Aarno Törmälä from Hub Logistics Finland Oy and Ilkka Korhonen from UpViser Oy. Also nine other finalists chosen around Finland are competing to become the national winner, who will represent Finland at the World Entrepreneur of the Year competition in Monaco in June 2015.
The winner of Finland’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 will be revealed in a gala to be organized at the Finnish National Opera on November 17th 2014. The awards will be granted in three categories: services, production and trade. One these will become the winner of the entire competition. Special awards will also be bestowed for family entrepreneurship and to a young entrepreneur. Representatives from 55 expansive Finnish companies were nominated for the title this year.
