M, Volvo Car Mobility Announces Executive Leadership Change

M, Volvo Car Mobility today announced an executive leadership change, effective April 1, 2021. Erik Jivmark, currently Chief Operating Officer, has been named as Chief Executive Officer. This new role assumes the responsibilities of Bodil Eriksson, who has announced her intent to step down from her role at Volvo Car Mobility, effective March 31, 2021.

Bodil Eriksson has been at the helm of M since it was established in 2017. She built the company from the ground up, quickly attracting top-tier talent in software development, user experience and artificial intelligence. Following M’s 2019 launch in Stockholm, it has since rolled out in eight other Swedish cities.

“My vision for M has consistently revolved around enabling people to live life on their own terms. Mobility is essential to personal freedom. I’m equally happy and humbled that customers have received M with open arms. I hope that we will continue to make a difference in people’s lives by helping them make the most of their time,” says Eriksson.

Erik Jivmark has served as M’s Chief Operating Officer since day one and has held various positions in the Volvo universe since 2011.
