Press release -

ManoMotion releases SaferHands, an easy-to-use product including everything you need to start using our safety technology to avoid injuries in industrial manufacturing and machines.

Press release, Stockholm, December 11, 2023

Industrial automation and safety is one of the main applications of hand tracking and gesture recognition technologies. Since 2019, ManoMotion has developed solutions to revolutionize the safety of potentially dangerous machines in industrial production by tracking human hands to avoid serious accidents automatically.

ManoMotion today launches a complete product that can be used stand-alone and installed in minutes in your own production facility. The SaferHands product includes all necessary hardware (such as an Nvidia Jetson PC board, camera, and all safety software preinstalled).

Now, for the first time there is no need to integrate our advanced AI-based SW technology with your proprietary HW systems. Instead, it is now possible to immediately evaluate the functionality of our AI based hand detection safety solution in your actual production environment by adding our stand alone Safer Hands product kit. Using ManoMotion's safety technology enables users, owners and manufacturers of potentially dangerous equipment to avoid hand injuries. These injuries are causing personal tragedy for the operator and by avoiding them also saves large amounts in related costs for insurance and liability, downtime and decreased productivity among other operators.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer this complete product to be used by anyone in industrial machinery in need of improving hand safety. Saving months of integration and verification, it is now possible to start protecting hands close to dangerous equipment in less than an hour”, says Lars Österberg, CEO of ManoMotion.
