Newest Absolute 48 Coupe is New Zealand bound
Yachtfinders Global, the New Zealand distributor for luxury Italian yacht manufacturer Absolute, has confirmed an early 2023 delivery date for the first Absolute 48 Coupe into New Zealand. The latest model, which debuted at the recent Cannes boat show, heralds a new range dedicated to sporty performance and total luxury. The 'Green Coupe Range' compliments the successful 'Flybridge' and 'Navetta' ranges.
Gary Erceg, managing director of Yachtfinders Global, immediately recognised the appeal of the new model for New Zealand clients. "After seeing the extraordinary specification, attention to detail and value for money we moved to secure one at the earliest build slot and delivery date possible" says Erceg.
"We've been working with Italian shipyards for a couple of decades now, and with Absolute since 2017. We know the European marques well, and Absolute stands out head and shoulders."
Absolute are one of only two truly modern production boatyards in Italy. The 48,000 sqm plant opened in 2002 and utilises advanced automated manufacturing technology operating 24/7. Dedicated to environmental sustainability, the factory is designed to reduce impacts on the environment and the boats are designed following eco-sustainable principles.
According to Erceg the the brand is unmatched in bringing together elegance and functionality. "Firstly you've got authentic Italian style. Then you have a perfect blend of extreme luxury merged with practicality and reliability. For example the side windows in this model are all electric up/down opening, allowing a refreshing breeze inside when conditions suit. There is an uninterrupted 360-degree view from inside. There is a door from the helm to the side deck allowing quick access for the helmsperson. And all the internal doors are cavity sliders, far more practical than conventional doors."
"The greatest thing is the surprise and delight our kiwi clients get when seeing it for the first time. These boats are all about volume, space and light. It is quite a revelation when you first step onboard an Absolute compared to any previous boating experiences." says Erceg.
