This year, again, the CIRSE organizers are using Mentice's medical simulators in Lisbon 15-19 September

Mentice at CIRSE 2012 in Lisbon - Portugal, 15-19 September. Mentice has a long history of partnership with CIRSE. This year, again, the CIRSE organizers are running advanced interventional training sessions covering a wide spectrum of topics, using Mentice’s state of the art simulators. Mentice will provide you with the unique opportunity to bring your own AAA data. See the Mentice VIST Case-It in action and try your case on the simulators. From CT or MRI data, the operator will reconstruct the relevant anatomy. If you are interested in bringing your own data get in contact with roger.karlsson@mentice.com for all details and booking.

The topics of the CIRSE 2012 principles to practice training sessions will be:

• Basics of angioplasty and stenting - Saturday, September 15 

• Basic embolization techniques - Sunday, September 16

• Acute aortic syndromes - Monday, September 17 

• Contemporary carotid artery stenting - Tuesday, September 18
        

The sessions are scheduled at 08:30-13:00 and are located in the Simulator Gallery. All sessions are organized by CIRSE. All inquiries regarding the content of the sessions and participation need to be through www.cirse.org.
