Mentice AB supports research in computerbased simulator technology for surgical education.

Mentice AB today announced the financial support of research in simulator-based training in clinical education in surgery at the Huddinge University Hospital, Sweden. The Karolinska Institute is responsible for research and education within and together with the Huddinge University Hospital. The support for this research initiative will run for a period of 4 years. The project is aimed at evaluating computer-based simulator technology in a clinical setting. Minimally invasive surgery is a key area for this research.
