Skala has signed an upgrade deal

Skala AS has been a customer of Informatikk/Intentia/Lawson and now Infor since 1987. It is therefore very pleasing that they again have shown confidence in Merit & Infor by deciding to upgrade their current M3 solution to version 13.3. 

In nearly 80 years Skala AS has been an important resource for the food industry. The company is a leading provider of technical services, processing equipment, packaging and supplies to the Norwegian food industry. New technology and increased rate of change characterizes today's food industry. Not only the requirement for profitability, but also the growing consumer focus on health, quality and variety demands innovation and development. Skala aims to be a solid and competent partner for its customers and will therefore devote resources to develop their own expertise. The agreements with Merit to upgrade business management solution is a part of this effort. 

The new solution aims to create a more efficient workday for the 125 users of the M3. The main focus areas are improved processes within project management, production and finance. A new user interface, together with new functionality in M3 13.3 will be the foundation for the upgrade. 

Today's M3 solution was implemented in 1996. When Skala goes into production with the new version, Infor M3 version 13.3, during the summer of 2017 they will have used the system for 30 years. That’s worth a celebration!
