Optimera Skodborg a part of Saint Gobain Distribution Denmark is live with M3 13.1
In September 2013, Merit and Optimera Skodborg (a part of Saint Gobain Distrubution Nordic) had a kickoff on the new implementation of M3 13.1. On January 5th 2015 the implementation successfully went live according to the time schedule. The project was called ALFA3 and is the first step of the Danish version of the common Saint Gobain Distribution Nordic project called Galileo.
“On scope”, on time and under budget
One of the scopes of the project was to incorporate the large number of core modifications which has been developed in the Swedish Galileo project for M3 version 10. These modifications have been upgraded to M3 version 13 as a part of the ALFA 3 project and should minimize the risks and workload when the Danish Galileo project starts in 2016.
The good collaboration between the IT organizations at Saint Gobain Distribution Denmark and Merit’s project team has resulted in a successful project delivered on scope, on time and under initial budget.
