Press release -
Monterro strengthens its operations team with addition of senior SaaS leader
Monterro - the leading Nordic growth investor in B2B software companies - has added Leif Bohlin to its operations team. Leif has held several senior leadership roles in the SaaS world. His recruitment will strengthen the support Monterro gives its portfolio companies on their growth journeys.
- "Monterro occupies a unique position in the market thanks to our experienced employees who've built and managed SaaS companies," says Monterro's CEO Gustav Lagercrantz. "The addition of Leif strengthens that position even further. He'll be a fantastic asset – both for Monterro and for our portfolio companies."
Leif Bohlin has a background in management consulting but - more importantly - 20 years' experience starting, building and managing SaaS companies, both Nordic and international. His latest role was the CEO of Unifaun, a fast-growing, market leading SaaS company within Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- "I've been through all the different phases a SaaS company goes through when growing," says Leif Bohlin. "And I know how valuable support can be in progressing to the next phase, whether that be around product development, acquisitions, international expansion or selling the company. At Monterro I get to share what I’ve learned with our portfolio companies, and help them progress through every phase on their growth journeys.”"
Leif Bohlin is the second SaaS business leader that recently decided to join Monterro. Erik Syrén, former CEO of Lime, will start after the summer.
- "I've met many different types of investors and constellations of ownership, and Monterro is definitely unique," Leif added. "It's a fantastic team, and they offer exactly what entrepreneurs in the software business really need: capital and both strategic and operational competence. I'm really looking forward to joining the team."
