Press release -
Nordiska Entreprenadsystem (NEXT) and Byggsamordnaren merge and become a leading player in the construction and contractor industry
Fast-growing Nordiska Entreprenadsystem with cloud-based business system NEXT acquires well-established Byggsamverkan with project management system Byggsamordnaren.
The combination of two strong brands, complementary product portfolios and a large customer base create a great platform to jointly develop the business with continued strong growth.
- Our goal is to be the leading supplier to the construction, contractor and service industries, with a unified offering for customers seeking a professional industry-adapted business system, says Gunilla Åberg, CEO of Nordiska Entreprenadsystem. We see great opportunities for continued expansion in Sweden, but also in the rest of the Nordics and Europe.
With the merger both companies bring together joint expertise, solutions and products, which will be a large asset in the further development of products. The goal is to be the operational and business-critical hub for construction companies.
- The merger will result in a broader offering, with functionality and expertise in all areas of the industry, while at the same time ensuring a long-term offering for new and existing customers, says Anders Jacobson, founder of Nordiska Entreprenadsystem.
NEXT and Byggsamordnaren are established brands in their respective industry segments, which will bring a broad and competitive offer to the market.
- Joining NEXT with their specialist expertise complements our offer very well. It´s been important to find a partner sharing the same values and customer relationships, says Stefan and Martin Gustafsson, founders of Byggsamverkan. Through the acquisition, we become part of a larger organization which adds great benefit to our customers.
Stockholm-based investment firm Monterro has been the main owner of NEXT since 2019. Monterro has long experience of developing Nordic software B2B companies and will, together with company management, continue to develop the business and accelerate the geographical expansion.
