Planima scales up: The proptech company takes the next step in its growth journey together with Monterro.

Monterro, the Nordic region’s leading B2B software investor, has acquired a majority stake in Planima, a high-growth Gothenburg-based software company offering a complete and user-friendly platform for strategic property maintenance. With Monterro on board, the company is aiming for an even faster pace of innovation, with product development and market expansion at the top of the agenda.

Planima enables proactive and cost-efficient property maintenance

Through strategic expertise, unique data assets, and a smart, user-friendly planning tool, Planima empowers property owners to maintain their buildings in a way that ensures predictability, lower costs, and clear sustainability benefits.

Today, approximately 15,000 properties are managed in Planima, representing more than 5,000 property owners, ranging from public organizations and authorities to some of Sweden’s largest companies, such as Svenska Bostäder, AstraZeneca, Catena, Max Burgers, SKF, Sjöfartsverket, and Ikano Bostad.

Planima also collaborates and integrates with many other players in the industry and is a driving force in building a new digital ecosystem for property management.

Monterro brings both capital and deep operational experience in scaling software companies

Monterro has extensive experience in scaling B2B software businesses. Two-thirds of the firm’s team has an operational background in the software industry, and Monterro has successfully supported and developed around 30 portfolio companies in their growth phase – including within proptech.
