The "Madonna" Erotica Mask by PV Bound Leather

Back in 1992, people were a little more prudish when it came to leather and BDSM content on the airwaves. It was way before Lady Gaga’s meat dress, and Christina Aguilera’s Dirrty video. It was also the year Madonna released her album Erotica, featuring the video Erotica.

The video directed by Fabian Baron portrayed Madonna as a dominatrix with her dancers acting as her subs. Madonna cast Big Daddy Kane (a 80′s rapper), Isabella Rossillini, and Naomi Campbell (prior to her using a Blackberry as a weapon), and the video was shot in NYC’s The Kitchen, an art space. The remainder of the scenes were shot during photo sessions for Madonna’s Sex book.
