NCC Group and Vodafone working together to help organisations balance security and connectivity

We have partnered with technology communications company Vodafone as it expands its portfolio of cybersecurity products and services for the critical national infrastructure and public sectors.

Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) has been providing expert security services and solutions to Government and defence customers since 1989. NCC Group and VBSE will now be working together offering three new services to help VBSE’s customers take the next steps on their cyber security journey. We’ll also be providing ongoing insights and threat intelligence with up-to-date knowledge of the threat landscape that its customers are operating in.

The three new services in the Vodafone “Cyber Enhanced” portfolio include:

  • Full spectrum testing, which identifies areas of vulnerability and helps to mitigate the threat of unauthorised access.
  • Retained incident response, which identifies an incident’s impact on the business and gives remediation support with established SLA’s intended to reduce how often incidents occur.
  • Cyber security reviews, which provide a comprehensive view of the cyber security posture of organisations and gives them a clear understanding of their cyber risks and how to mitigate them.

Nick Gliddon, Business Director at Vodafone UK, commented on the services:

“With more people accessing sensitive data in remote locations due to the ever-increasing capabilities of mobile technology, proactive and constantly evolving cybersecurity strategies have become critical. We have more than 30 years of experience working in some of the most sensitive and critical areas, and we are delighted to be working with NCC Group to make our combined skills, knowledge and technology available to critical national infrastructure and public sector organisations across the UK.”

James Williams, Head of Technology, Media and Telecom Sector Sales, NCC Group said:

“IT leaders in critical national infrastructure and public sector organisations in the UK face the pertinent challenge of balancing between connectivity and security, all while keeping the country running.

We are delighted to partner with Vodafone to help ensure that, despite this increased risk, organisations can benefit from increased productivity with the assurance that their assets are safer and more secure.”
