NCC Group supports JINC to improve a child’s future chances

On Monday September 20 NCC Group signed a partnership deal with JINC, a Dutch non-governmental-organization that strives for a society in which a child’s background doesn’t determine their future and that offers equal opportunities and a fair chance for all.

NCC Group’s commitment to sustainability is integral to how we do business and our approach to sustainability is focused on the recognised elements of environment, social and governance (ESG).

From a social perspective this means that we will for example continue to foster partnerships that support development of future diverse cyber talent while we are also developing a global giving back programme which will enable colleagues to take part in local community programmes.

Inge Bryan (Managing Director for NCC Group’s continental European business) comments on the partnership: "Security and equal opportunities for all go hand in hand as far as we are concerned so we are thrilled that we will be actively supporting JINC in achieving their goals in the future”.

She continues: "This partnership will allow our people to invest in, and give something back to, the (local) community and that’s really exciting”. NCC Group has identified 4 activities from the JINC programme that they are going to participate in:

- A Flash internship including a company visit.

- Teach digital skills (the basics of programming) at schools in the The Hague and Rotterdam area.

- Job interview training at schools in Delft.

- Participate in the ‘Boss for a day’ event: a day when organizations all around the Netherlands let children shadow their CEO or equivalent.
