NCC Group’s managed security services team celebrates Boss Of The SOC win

Last week our managed security services team were the winners of Splunk’s Boss Of The SOC (BOTS) challenge, which pits some of the finest SOC teams in the country against each other to solve a range of cyber defensive and detection scenarios.

The competition was held ahead of this year’s SplunkLive! event in London, and saw contestants tackling realistic security incidents to highlight the strength of their incident investigation services, with NCC Group coming out on top.

Graham McElroy, CTO at NCC Group’s security and network operation centre said: “The BOTS challenge gave us a fantastic opportunity to showcase our world-leading detection and investigation capabilities, and it’s great to come away with the win – we’ll certainly be back next year defending our trophy.”
