Tony Richardson appointed as country manager for NCC Group’s new Japan operation

Tony Richardson has been appointed as NCC Group’s representative for its new operations in Japan, where he will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market business and sales strategy.

Tony will be working with companies across a range of sectors, including transport, financial services and manufacturing, to market NCC Group’s leading cyber security and software escrow services.

Tony brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the region having lived and worked in Tokyo for over two decades. Most recently, Tony served as regional vice president at network security business Tufin, where he oversaw the company’s cyber security sales activities in APAC markets.

“I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to take advantage of this growth potential and to drive the company’s presence across all key industries,” said Tony.

“Japan is one of the largest major global economies, but the cyber security landscape has been slow to develop relative to some other countries. However, following the introduction of a new cyber security strategy in 2018, it is now poised to grow significantly.”
