Minimal space, maximum taste - NEFF’s new Steam Drawer complements every kitchen

The new NEFF Steam Drawer opens up new possibilities for healthy and flavourful eating and fits even into smaller kitchens. Aromatic steamed rice, tasty dumplings or savoury vegetables – steaming is not only a healthy preparation method but also a creative way to explore new flavourful culinary experiences. And it doesn’t have to be complicated. With the new NEFF Steam Drawer, you don’t need to look for the right pot or steam tray anymore or carefully check if the water is boiling too high or not enough. Just place your food into the drawer and the appliance takes care of the rest.

With a height of just 14 cm the NEFF Steam Drawer fits neatly into a drawer niche and thus seamlessly integrates even in smaller kitchens. In combination with a compact or full-size N70/N90 NEFF oven it ensures a perfect optical match in the kitchen. Alternatively, the steam drawer can also be flexibly built in alone, directly under the worktop, if this suits the kitchen layout better. Separate side trims in four colours allow you to add your own style so it fits in harmoniously. The easy-to-use interface gives you direct access to heating modes, temperature as well as additional functions via touch buttons. It is located inside the appliance so that the outside has an elegant and calm black glass panel effect. Only when the appliance is running does a timer indicate the remaining cooking progress on the panel. Apart from steaming fresh food you can also use the NEFF Steam Drawer to reheat gently precooked food e.g. pasta, prove dough, defrost chilled food or disinfect kitchen ware, like jam jars.

The NEFF Steam Drawer is easy to operate. The spacious steam tray with built-in handles has a capacity of ten litres, corresponding to up to 2.5 kg of potatoes. When you connect your NEFF Steam Drawer to the NEFF Home Connect app, you can unlock its full potential. With just a few taps, you can control and monitor it from anywhere – even via voice command –, with seamless syncing between the app and the drawer. The app offers a wide selection of cooking inspiration with guided instructions and the Cooking Assistant finds the perfect settings for dishes like whole sea bass. You can send the settings directly to your drawer, which switches off automatically when your meal is ready. You can also save settings for quick access, so your favourite meal is always just a few taps away. Thanks to these features, you can concentrate on other things while your food is being steamed, like the main dish in the oven or the cooking utensils that were needed for the preparation. If you want to check the progress or control the settings remotely, you can do so via the NEFF Home Connect app.
