Nextory continues to grow fastest among the Swedish streaming services

The book service Nextory's total revenues increased by 95 percent during the second quarter of the year compared to the same period last year. Thereby, Nextory continues to grow the fastest among the Swedish streaming services for digital books. In June, the company also hit a record with the highest number of new users during one month.

Nextory have doubled the amount of subscribers during the previous year and even in 2020, the book service's customer base continues to increase significantly. The growth has been strong both in Sweden and at the company's international markets. The number of new users increased by as much as 58 percent in June compared to the same month last year. In addition, the first month of the summer became a new record month for the company. June 2020 is so far Nextory's best month for acquiring new users.

– Despite a very challenging first half of the year with new conditions and work from home, we have continued to grow at a very fast pace. It is now clear that the summer has started and that the holidays have begun. We can clearly see that the activity has increased in the app and that more people have started reading and listening to books in June compared to May, says Shadi Bitar, CEO and Founder at Nextory.
