Nextory launches in Germany
Nextory is now launching their service on the German market. In doing so, Nextory will be the first subscription based service to offer unlimited access to both audio and e-books, directly on your mobile phone and tablet.
Nextory’s vision is to increase the reading and with their technology they make reading more accessible than ever before. The launch itself will allow Germans to easily carry around tens of thousands of audio and e-books in a wide range of genres, in both German and English.
– Germany is the second country we launch in outside of Sweden and it feels absolutely fantastic that we are now establishing ourselves on one of the largest markets in the world for digital books. The German book industry has already come a long way in their digital transformation and there is great potential for both audio and e-books, says Shadi Bitar, CEO and founder at Nextory.
The digital book industry in Germany grows at an exponential pace. During last year the total sales of digital audio and e-books estimated around 285 million euro with about 21.6 millions of readers and listeners.
