NG Nordic Named One of TIME’s Most Impactful Companies 2026
NG Nordic has been named one of TIME’s Most Impactful Companies 2026, recognizing the company’s contribution to advancing circularity and addressing the urgent challenges of climate change and resource scarcity by transforming waste into valuable resources and removing hazardous substances from circulation.
The World’s Most Impactful Companies list, presented by TIME in partnership with Statista and The Upright Project, identifies companies demonstrating a strong net-positive impact on society. Inclusion on the list reflects an independent, data-driven assessment of a company’s contribution.
“We are honored to be recognized by TIME as one of the world’s most impactful companies. This recognition belongs to our employees who work every day to turn waste into valuable resources and help accelerate the transition to a truly circular economy. It also reflects the trust of our customers, partners and communities,” says Bjørn Arve Ofstad, CEO of NG Nordic.
The recognition comes at a time when circularity, resource security, and resilience are becoming increasingly important to both competitiveness and climate ambitions across the Nordics and Europe. For NG Nordic, the acknowledgment underscores the growing role of circular solutions in reducing emissions, recovering critical materials, and building more resource-efficient societies.
“Waste is increasingly being recognized for what it really is: a valuable resource. The shift to a circular economy is one of the defining transformations of our time, and we are proud to contribute by helping industries and society recover and recycle materials, lower emissions, strengthen strategic resource resilience and reduce dependence on virgin resources in an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape,” says Runa Opdal Kerr, Chief Impact Officer of NG Nordic.
