  1. If you need assistance, view this video description of the process.
  2. Login to Veracross at http://portals.veracross.com/nist.
  3. Click "Re-enrollment for 2015-16 School Year” link.
  4. Complete all of the applicable steps on the online re-enrollment page.

Can You Help Our Students?

We are looking for parents and employers to help us during our annual Work Experience Week from 25 to 29 May, in which our year 11 students complete work placements at companies throughout Bangkok. This programme has proven to be a great success over the years, and one that provides valuable experience for the students.

If you're interested in learning more and may be willing to take part, please read more on  The NIST Link.

ABRSM & Trinity Exam Deadline Extended

We are pleased to announce that we have an extension to the deadline for the Trinity Rock and Pop Music exam. If you missed the previous deadline and you would like your child to be submitted for the exam, please first confirm with their teacher that they are ready, and determine what level is appropriate.

You will also need to submit the proper form, available on the Portal, and the fee to the Instrumental Music Office.

Fresh from the Kitchen

Have you tried the best breakfast in Bangkok yet, right here at NIST? Every school day from 6:30 to 8.30 AM, we serve a made-to-order breakfast menu. Choose from free range organic eggs cooked any way, bacon, sausage made from organic happy pigs, real hash browns (not deep fried), grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, and thick sourdough toast. This week we added American fried rice and khao tom (pork or chicken) to the menu, and soon we will be adding black pudding! We even offer a bottomless cup of coffee, and don’t forget every Friday we have eggs benedict and eggs florentine available as a special,

We look forward to serving you breakfast soon!

Books @53 Book Fair

From 16 to 20 March, Books @53 will be offering a selection of titles in The Atrium (CAB). Please stop by, browse through the books on offer, and perhaps pick up a few!

As demonstrated in several articles shared by the NIST Library on their  Facebook page, there are significant benefits to reading physical books, even in this digital age.

We highly encourage parents and students to visit the fair and find some new favorites.

What Parents Need to Know: Curbing the Reflux

Lifestyle changes are often all that’s needed to treat GERD in children. If your baby spits up frequently or if your older child seems to complain often of heartburn and stomach ache, you might be dealing with GERD.

Gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) refers to the contents of the stomach coming up into the esophagus. When the reflux is frequent (for some patients almost daily or weekly), the stomach acid inflames the esophagus and the resultant discomfort cannot be ignored.

For more information about this condition, and how it can be diagnosed and addressed, visit the  Samitivej website.
