CBK Distribusjon AS is expanding to the Nordic region
CBK Distribusjon has acquired the Finnish distributor Pericad OY. Pericad is a Finnish distributor of AV and IT products to Finnish retailers.
«We see great potential in the Nordic market for our products, at the same time as the expansion will strengthen our position in Norway», says CEO of CBK Distribution, Ole Blom.
Pericad Oy was founded in 1989 and is a Finnish importer and wholesaler of AV - and computer equipments, and their product portfolio consists of well-known brands such as Barco and Philips. Over the years, Pericad has built up a strong position in Finland with a large and loyal customer portfolio.
«Pericad, which is a well-known company in the Finnish market for AV equipments. They have built up a strong and impressive customer portfolio over the past 30 years, and have skilled employees with relevant technical background and many years of experience from the IT and A/V industry», says Blom. «Pericad and CBK have a lot in common, both in terms of corporate culture, product portfolio, knowledge and customers. Pericad is the first step for a Nordic presence», Blom adds.
In addition to its existing product portfolio, Pericad will now also distribute Hisense, which is the world's fourth largest TV screen manufacturer, as well as CBK's own private brands LinkIT, Stoltzen and Elivi. The acquisition of Pericad is also important for Hisense's presence in the Nordic region.

«CBK and Hisense are already cooperating very well in Norway, and I know that there will be the same close cooperation with Pericad in Finland», Holm adds.
