Press release: PARALLELS. Gustav Vigeland and his Contemporaries. The Vigeland Anniversary Exhibition

The exhibition celebrates the 150th anniversary of the sculptor Gustav Vigeland’s birth. Alongside Edvard Munch, Vigeland is Norway’s most famous artist. In the exhibition, Vigeland is presented with the following artists: Barye, Meunier, Rodin, Maillol and Bourdelle. The aim of the exhibition is to place Vigeland’s artistic development in a broader art historical context.
