Nokia valgt som global leverandør av USB-modem til Telenor
Nokia og Telenor har signert en global rammeavtale som gjør Nokia til en av Telenors leverandører av USB-modem. Den nye avtalen gir Nokia adgang til tolv av Telenors markeder på verdensbasis.

Nokia selected as global supplier of USB modems by Telenor
Oslo 20.09.2011: Nokia and Telenor have signed a Global Frame Agreement making Nokia one of Telenor’s global suppliers of USB modems. The new contract means that Nokia obtained access to 12 Telenor markets worldwide.
Telenor is one of the global operators who are heavily investing in mobile broadband, and at the same time stimulating network upgrading towards higher speeds by implementing the HSPA+ and LTE technology. Telenor is also one of the largest users of mobile broadband products and the Global Frame Agreement will make Nokia a global supplier of USB modems to Telenor.
Telenor selected Nokia as one of their global USB modems suppliers based on the evaluation of their commercial offer and their technical capability to meet Telenor’s requirements in its markets including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Serbia, Montenegro, Hungary, Ukraine, Pakistan, Thailand, Malaysia, Bangladesh and India.

Nokia was selected as one of the suppliers based on extensive technical testing in 2 categories (7.2 Mbps and 21 Mbps) while testing in the LTE modem category will be done later this year.
The products in the 7.2 Mbps speed category (7M-01 and 7M-02) include one single and one dual band USB modem. The HSPA+ modem in the 21 Mbps speed category (21M-02) is a robust dual band HSPA+ modem. All three USB modems have attractive design and superior RF performance ensuring great user experience even in weak network conditions. Both 7M and 21M modems support dual stack IPv4/IPv6 and advanced 3GPP Release 7 features (CPC etc).
