Nuet Aquavit Becomes First Norwegian Company to Sell Spirits Online

Online sales of alcoholic beverages is the fastest-growing sales channel globally, and the innovative Norwegian startup Nuet Aquavit is joining the trend by becoming the first Norwegian company ever to sell spirits online. The company, who has developed the first ever aquavit that serves as a premium substitute to gin, is now offering their products from their very own website, available for delivery across the globe, except for in Norway, where sales have to go through state-owned channels.

Premium Gin Substitute
Nuet Aquavit has one product on the market so far, which is the Nuet Dry Aquavit. The product, which recently launched with both Master of Malt and Whisky Exchange, was developed through more than 100 test distillations in Oslo, with the aim of creating the first aquavit ever to really shine both in a martini and with tonic water. The end result was a premium aquavit that serves as an excellent gin substitute in normally gin-based drinks, as well as a plethora of other drinks. In May the company also launched their limited 17th of May edition bottle, in celebration of the Norwegian Constitution Day.
