Tellu joins European DataCloud project
With recent developments in technologies such as the Internet of Things, massive amounts of data are being generated and turned into Dark Data - data that is collected but not used. The DataCloud project aims to create a novel paradigm for Big Data pipeline processing that will leverage the full value of Dark Data.
The results of the project will be demonstrated in a wide range of business cases including Smart mobile marketing campaigns, automatic live sports content annotation, predicting deformations in ceramics, analytics of manufacturing assets, and digital health systems.
DataCloud is coordinated by SINTEF, Scandinavia's largest independent research organisation. Partners include companies from a diversity of industry sectors such as Bosch (Germany), iExec (France), Ubitech (Greece), JOT Internet Media (Spain), MOG Technologies (Portugal), and Ceramica Catalano (Italy). Tellu is the only project partner representing health and welfare technology.
The project has received EUR 5 million in funding from the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program and spans the period between January 2021-December 2023.
For more information about the project see the EU Cordis website.
